Miss India World 2021 Manasa Varanasi made India proud by making it to the Top 13 list at Miss World 2021. Her finale gown was spectacular and was designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. The mermaid-esque gown flaunted her curves and the voluminous curls further added to her glamour quotient.
Giving more details about the finale gown, designer Falguni Peacock said, “Designing the Miss World gowns over the years has been such an amazing experience. I and Shane really love the process of designing for the gown. Our vision for the Miss World gown has been very minimalistic but still something spectacular, that makes an impact. In the embellishments, apart from the crystals, we have added a lot of pearls. Manasa comes from the city of pearls and we had to add that touch to it. ”
From a very young age, Manasa had a range of diverse interests that include reading, music, yoga, and dreamy skies. Growing up as a girl with a reserved nature, she expressed herself through Bharatanatyam and Sangeeta. She spent most of her time exploring new art and mystery, which, in turn, helped her develop an intimate relationship with curiosity. The same curiosity drew her to be a part of an NGO called Make A Difference. Being a part of the NGO, she grew a strong desire to be the voice for the less-fortunate and make an impact with the help of a bigger platform.
Over the past few years, the beauty has been working with kids and aspired to much more after learning the struggle many children go through in our country, especially her state, Telangana. Her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project 10-9-8 has been associated with the Hyderabad police for their campaign, ‘We Can,’ which tends towards preventing and stopping child sexual abuse in the state. In addition, she has met several people to promote and create awareness about 1098, the Child Helpline number.
